Who we are and what this covers
Stellar Corporate LLC operates ABC Adventure. Contact us at troy@stellarcorporate.com for privacy questions or requests. This policy describes the product website and the current mobile app preview, designed for children ages 3–7. The website also includes a small game that families may use together.
The mobile app is not yet publicly available in the App Store or Google Play. The latest mobile preview requires a registered parent account. Parent-controlled learning-progress sync is available. Live photo-based character generation remains disabled.
Information in the mobile app
A parent must register or sign in online before children can play. After signing in, core activities and bundled audio work offline on that device until sign-out or removal of app data. The app stores the following in its local device storage:
- A parent-selected nickname, optional profile photo, selected avatar and any saved illustrated character.
- Learning completion counts, practice dates, unfinished activity state, rewards and preferences such as language, sound and motion.
- A salted hash of the parent PIN and its salt, used to protect the parent area. The app does not save the PIN as readable text.
These details support personalization, saved learning and parent controls. When a parent enables progress sync, activity counts, practice dates, rewards, daily goal and completed-activity measurements (answer attempts, correct answers and active practice seconds) are also stored privately in Google Firebase Firestore under the parent account. These progress records restore on other devices signed into the same account. Photos, characters, nickname, PIN and unfinished activities remain on each device. A parent can use the app without adding a child's name or photo.
Photos and illustrated characters
When a parent selects a photo, the app creates a resized copy and re-encodes it without embedded photo metadata such as EXIF location tags. The original in the device photo library is unchanged. The operating system's picker may keep temporary files outside the app's profile storage.
Live photo-based character generation is disabled in the current public-facing product. The website does not accept photo uploads. Bayla's existing illustrated character appears in the product previews; uploading a photo to the app does not publish it on this website.
If online character generation becomes available, a separate parent flow will explain what is sent, to whom, why, and for how long. Applicable parental consent and provider safeguards must be in place before that feature processes real child photos. A parent PIN alone is not verification of legal parental consent.
Website activity and hosting
The counting game and screenshot selector run in your browser. Their answers and selections are not sent to a server or saved in local storage. This website has no login, advertising, analytics script, newsletter form or application cookies. Fonts and artwork are served from the website itself.
Google Firebase Hosting delivers the site. Loading a page sends technical request information, including an IP address and browser/request metadata, to the hosting infrastructure for delivery and security. This technical processing occurs even when you do not enter information. Provider processing and retention are governed by applicable service terms and settings; we do not promise a specific infrastructure log-deletion time. Read Firebase's privacy information.
App services and sharing
The mobile app includes Firebase Core configuration. Firebase Authentication processes the parent email, password credential, account identifier and technical authentication requests to register and protect the parent account. Authentication credentials are handled by Firebase; the app does not save a readable password in profile preferences. The app uses an authenticated Cloud Functions service backed by private Firestore records for optional progress sync. It does not include Firebase Analytics, Storage, Crashlytics or Messaging. The server verifies the parent account and accepts only learning-data fields. Photos, characters, nickname, parent PIN and unfinished activities are not included in progress requests.
Learning voices were generated during development with ElevenLabs and are bundled in the app. Playing those recordings does not send a child's voice, name or learning activity to ElevenLabs. There is no microphone-recording feature.
We do not sell learner information or use it for targeted advertising. There are no public profiles or chat. Information you voluntarily send in a support email is handled through email services so we can respond. We may disclose information we hold when legally required or necessary to respond to a security issue, subject to applicable law.
Storage, retention and deletion
Local profile and progress data remain on the device until changed or deleted; they do not automatically expire. In the parent area, Remove photo removes the app's profile photo, Remove character removes saved character artwork, Reset progress clears learning history while keeping the profile. After sync has been enabled, reset needs internet and resets the account’s cloud progress; older offline updates are discarded when those devices reconnect. Delete all data removes the app's locally saved profile and progress after its cloud learning progress has been reset when applicable.
The parent account page offers sign-out and account deletion. Deletion requires an internet connection and the account password; it removes the Firebase account and its local profile on this device. Account deletion also triggers server deletion of its learning-progress records and retry receipts; this cleanup is asynchronous. Sign-out preserves local progress for that account. Cloud learning records remain until reset or account deletion. Minimal operation IDs and receipt timestamps are retained until account deletion to prevent retries from duplicating progress. Parents can pause synchronization on a device; pausing does not delete existing cloud records. Provider infrastructure logs and backups follow provider retention settings. Local copies on other devices and device backups must be removed separately. Parent accounts remain until deleted; provider security records and backups follow the applicable provider retention rules. These actions do not delete the original image in your photo library. Device backups, restored backups and temporary operating-system files are managed outside the app. Check your device and backup provider's settings to manage those copies.
Support correspondence remains in the support mailbox unless removed; automatic expiry is not currently configured. You may request removal of correspondence we control. Provider backups or records required by law may be retained separately. Hosting logs follow the provider's applicable retention settings.
Children and parent choices
Parents can choose a generic avatar, keep names and photos out of the profile, manage local information, enable or pause progress sync, and reset or remove information through the parent area. A registered parent account is required; a child nickname and photo remain optional.
To ask about information we hold, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a concern about a child's information, email troy@stellarcorporate.com. Please describe the request without attaching a child's photo, identity document or sensitive details. We may need proportionate verification before providing information or making changes. We cannot remotely read or delete a profile stored only on your device.
Depending on your location, privacy law may provide additional rights, including the right to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, or complain to a privacy regulator. These rights apply where provided by law. See our child protection page for parent controls and reporting.
Security and international access
The website uses HTTPS, and the app uses operating-system sandboxed storage. No system can guarantee absolute security. Local profile storage is not separately encrypted by the app; device access and backup settings matter.
Google Firebase and our hosting and email providers may process parent-account information, synchronized learning records, technical information or support correspondence outside your country under their applicable terms. Cloud learning records are stored privately under the parent account; profile photos and character artwork are not included in learning-progress sync. Supported learning languages do not mean every country has been approved for a future mobile app release.
Policy updates
The date above identifies this version. Material changes to collection or online features will be explained before they are enabled, with additional notice or consent where required. General acceptance of terms does not replace consent required for a child's personal information.
